I looked at tuxes yesterday (FI is out of town, and I was bored). In my head, I was picturing all the guys who are going to be in tuxes, and then I had a question about the matchy-matchiness of them.
There are three groomsmen, two ushers, my dad and FI. Do they all wear the same thing? Or does the groom stand out somehow? We were already planning on getting FI a different bout, but I wondered about the rest of the getup.
Are the GM and ushers supposed to be different in some way? Different bouts?
The salesperson suggested my dad wear a black vest and bow tie, FI wear an ivory vest and bow tie, and the GM and ushers all wear blue vests and long ties.
Does that sound right? Am I overthinking things?
