Will my dress be done in time?

I had my 2nd dress fitting on the 15th - she said she had to make a couple more changes to the top and do the bustle. The length is fine.

So she told me she'd call when she was ready to schedule my final fitting. She said she couldn't do it until March 3rd!! My wedding is the next Saturday on the 10th!

Then it still has to be cleaned/steamed... makes me wonder if it's even going to be ready in time. I'm seriously worried.

I see you are in Phoenix, who are you using for your seamtress?  I just posted in the other alterations thread, but my entire alterations took less than a week (and it was steamed and ready to go when I picked it up).  I think you will be fine.

Jemmini, I'm using Sandra Denley. She's been great with the changes so far, I just didn't realize it was going to come down to my last fitting a week before the wedding! She's just so super busy!!

I've heard very good things about Sandra, I really don't think she'll leave you hanging before your wedding.  Don't stress about it too much, I'm sure it will look fantastic when it's all done.

I've heard its actually pretty common to have a final fitting that close to the wedding.  If it's someone who's recommended in the area and someone you've been happy with until now, I'm sure she'll make sure you're taken care of.
