I know we technically shouldn't be giving day of jewelry to our girls as gifts, but I'm starting to have HUGE guilt trips about the dresses, the shoes, and necklaces I've asked my girls to buy. One of my girls is a full time student, and the other two work and go to school.
The dresses are (with tax) $170 and change
The shoes are $65.00
The necklaces are *thankfully* on sale now for $29.99 (before tax)
I'm not saying I'm made of money, but if my girls are paying for the pre-wedding parties, if I pay half and give them really nice handmade thank you cards, could that go in lieu of a gift?
