shoes vs. dress

So I've found a dress that I absolutely LOVE, and I foudn shoes that I absolutely LOVE!  The only problem is I don't know if they would look good together?  I haven't bought either, so it's not too late to go back and change my mind... but I just wanted some other opinions.  What do you think?

Re: shoes vs. dress

  • There's something about the combination of those particular shoes with that dress I don't like (although each is nice separately). I do think you could do a red shoe with it, just not that one. Could you buy the shoes and find a dress to wear with them for an engagement party or your rehearsal?
Love the dress, its very flattering on you!
  • I don't think that they go together. The dress is much more dainty.

  • I feel the dress is light and airy and the shoes are more on the heavy side.  I also like Klassy's idea.  If you really like both then wear the shoes to the rehearsal (and many more occasions to come!).

  • The dress is really pretty, but also has a delicate, vintage face to it. You want to bring out the the dress by not adding to much. Shoes I would go with a more light silk pump that is fresh but yet pops. but not over powering your dress. You want people to look at you and your dress, not huge bright pumps!

I hope I helped you.. and good luck!!

  • I like the dress, I think it's very pretty.  But I don't know if it necessarily suits you to look absolutely stunning.  I think something with more of a sweetheart or v-neck may be better. I'm sorry :(
