Size/dress issues

Hey guys. The dress i ordered is a Private Label by G gown. The style number (on my receipt at least) is 265-507. I cant find it on the website or on any image search. I would like to find it online so i can stare at it sometimes and show my friends and family, without having to show the picture of me actaully in it. The dress looks like this. 

Also, the dress i tried on is a size 8 and it fit PERFECTLY! The consultant ordered me the sample size 8 and said it will fit just as good. But im worried. Im sure the gown has been tried on like 100 times and it may have gotten stretched out. What if when my dress comes in (sometime in December), itll be too small? Will they order me a new one because she was the one that said a size 8 would fit perfectly? Because i was always told to order one-two sizes up.

The sample you tried on was probably stretched out a bit but not so much so that the new size 8 dress ordered for you won't fit.  It will most likely feel a bit snug as compared to the sample but I am sure that it will still fit.

Did the sales lady measure you and then compare the measurements to her sizing chart or did she base the whole dress size solely on the fact that you fit into the sample?

When I bought my dress the sample was a 10 but was stretched out so they had to pin it just a bit to bring it back to its original shape.  When it came time to ordering I was in between sizes, so they took into account that the sample was a bit big so we all decided an 8 would be best.  When my dress came in it was too small (but it was around the holidays so I had been eating like crazy!) so in reality I should have ordered the sample size.

So after me being long winded, I think you should be fine with the size you ordered.

When I bought my dress the sample size eight fit me perfectly, but when they measured me I was in between three different sizes, none of which were an 8. Did they also measure you? I'm sure it'll be okay, but if it's snug they can let it out most likely.

I also tried on a Private Label by G dress that I loved and tried to find pictures of. I did finally find one, but it took some serious digging. I found their personal website to be horrible to find dresses on, but I did find it on the mobile version easier.

Yes. She measured me ad all the measurements were sent to the dress manufacturer and was printed on my receipt too. So perhaps the manufacturer uses those sizes to make the dress. Thanks everyone

Don't worry thay you need to order 2 sizes up from your street size. that is just dependent on designer. I orderd a casablanca and my size is the same as normal based on their measurments

If she measured you, it usually tells you to pick from the biggest size as it is easier to take in, then let out
