My FH's sister is one of my BMs... Not by choice, mind you, but as a gesture of kindness. She has done nothing but try my patience since day one, but that's beside the point. lol
She has insisted she wear a "modest" bridesmaid gown... Which is fine, but she's being very difficult. According to her, boleros and jackets look "tacky", so her dress has to be one specially made with sleeves. She insists that any gown from a major retailer (I'm going with either David's Bridal or Alfred Angelo) will need extensive alterations to be "appropriate." The rest of my BMs aren't wearing modest gowns, and I'm afraid the color won't match is she orders one online. She is also insisting that the dress be chiffon, since she "doesn't look good in satin or taffeta."
I'm really trying to be nice, and to respect her choice of clothing... But this is getting a little ridiculous. Is it too Bridezilla of me to tell her to suck it up, and wear the bolero over the dress that matches the other girls? I think the bolero will look fine... Or at least better than having her wear a shade of the color that is really off from the others.
Thoughts? Ideas?
