I wore just a regular pair of underwear, my dress was thick enough that I didn't need to worry about panty lines or color showing through. I didn't wear a bra, I had cups sewn into the dress. But, that is a personal preference and may depend on your dress style, chest size, and comfort level. I'm an A, so I didn't really need any extra support, just the cups. I didn't wear panty hose, no one would have seen them anyway. And no, I didn't wear a girdle, a lot of girls invest in some Spanx though to wear under their dresses.

I am wearing bride panties too. They are going to be my something blue. I am wearing a bustier because I am quite busty and need the support. It helps to cinch in your waist a little while giving you better support than a regular strapless bra. My friend did not wear a bra with her dress though because it had a low back. It really depends on what your dress looks like. NO PANTY HOSE! They are so uncomfortable and you can't see them anyway. I will not be wearing a girdle or spanx for that matter. I find them extremely uncomfortable and I really don't see that much of a difference with them on-but again it depends on your dress. If you have one that is slinky or super clingy, you might want something to smooth you out under the dress. I think comfort is key on your wedding day!

how about girdles? unnecessary.  unless you want to put a fancy one on when you take your dress off

I'm wearing a longline bra and thigh-high panty hose.  It won't have the "hot" feel of regular panty hose, and much easier to go throughout wedding day in thigh-highs.  regular undies... I want to be comfortable.

I'm wearing blue cotton panties and a strapless bra from VS. I'm not wearing hose even though FMIL is having a cow about that, and not wearing any kind of shapewear underneath.

are panty hose really necissary? i hate them! I may be going out on a limb here, but I don't think anyone actually LIKES panty hose.  They're becoming very outdated.  You'd have to have a gun to my head to get me into panty hose.

how about girdles?  i figured i'd be wearing one, but my gown is a ballgown and hides all my lower areas nicely, so it's not necessary

My mom and FMIL don't understand why I'm not wearing hose either!  Just a strapless bra and regular undies for me!  I got an extender thingy from Hanes Outlet so the back of the bra will sit lower.

No bra, my dress is too small up top as it is

Pantyhose-- no way on those, I may consider thigh highs because FI like them

Girdle-- no way ever, my dress is really structured and small, so I don't think one would fit/ be necessary.

how about girdles? Spanx, only if necessary. I'm wearing a fitted mermaid.... we'll see.
