Shoes shoes shoes

I LOVE shoes.

Now that that's out of the way, I'm wondering how practical I should be with my shoe choices. The aisle I will be walking down is grass, and it's pretty long, so my heels are bound to get stuck periodically. Most of the photos we're taking will either be on grass or require walking on grass (not so much of a problem, I can get one of my bridesmaids to carry my shoes while I go barefoot). The reception will have a stone floor, so that's not much of a worry either. So do I go with flats or wedges so my heels don't get stuck in the grass? Or do I go with a stunning pair of pumps, and just get in a lot of practice walking on the balls of my feet and hope for the best? How did you strike the balance between style/comfort/practicality?

Here are the shoes I'm currently drooling over, which I'm sure will sway the opinions but... Tongue out

They're Badgley Mischka "Opel" satin pumps.  LOVE.
