I'm doing a destinatoin wedding on the beach.

Is it okay for me to wear a short dress?

Sure I mean that way it wont drag along the sand and stuff. My friends wore short dresses for their beach wedding

You could be getting married at home in a church, and a short dress would be fine.

It's absolutely acceptable!  I think it's smart to wear something shorter to the beach.  That way you can avoid getting sand in your gown.

I think a short dress would be adorable.  Plus then you could get some really cute pics actually standing in the water without having to hold up a dress or risk it getting wet and dragging at the bottom.

I would suggest it for a destination/beach.     Got married 4/19 on a beach in Florida-   it rained right before it was pretty messy.   My dress was a little above the ground, but was still difficult to get around in on the wet sand
