Need Help Please-What style Bustle will go good with my gown

I'm a first time bride and I just purchased my gown from Davids Bridal. I'm not really into trains but my gown has one, I want to have it bustled for the ceremony and reception but not quite sure which style would suit my gown (French, American?). Any input would be great, here are some pics (I'm not in the dress but this is the one I bought). Thanks!

  • What did they suggest? It depends on where you have it done, whether it is Davids or a bridal boutique/dress shop. I would ask their opinion. I am having the traditional 3 bustle, but I don't have a long train, so you may have to go with something different.
  • Definitely a French (under) bustle. The pickups in your dress are almost like a French bustle already. Adding more underbustle points would look the most natural. Your seamstress should be able to tell you exactly how many points would be best and where to place them.

Take a look at this page:

About halfway down, there are a few examples of dresses with pickups and French bustles.
