First Fitting F/U

When I bought my dress I was told not only by the salesperson, but also the owner, that all the alterations I wanted would be possible.  See bio for the list.

I get my dress on, and the seamstress starts talking to me about taking the dress in and getting rid of the bow. When I mentioned rounding the top, she says, "Oh, I'm not sure if I can do that."

I seriously almost cried. I took a deep breath and said, "When I purchased this dress, I asked about these alterations and I was assured by the salesperson and Elizabeth (owner) that my vision was possible."

She worked with it a bit more and figured it out. I am so glad I said something and wasn't nasty about it. It did make my heart start racing though!!! The alterations were even priced less than I expected, which is always nice!

phew! It typically does pay off to take the deep breath and stay composed, but it can be SO hard!  So glad they were able to alter the dress to your wishes! :)
