Flower Girl Dress Color

Hi everyone! I am having the hardest time trying to pick out the dress color for the FG. The colors for the wedding are blue (Malibu/island blue) and purple. The bridesmaids are wearing the color Marine Blue by Alfred Angelo. My dress will be white. The dress that I want the FG to wear is this (with the ribbon, not the flower): http://www.etsy.com/listing/106896071/coral-tutu-dress-for-wedding-flower-girl?

I can't decide if the dress should be white with a blue ribbon, or maybe purple with a white ribbon, or any other combination! The wedding is June 14 of this year and the FG will be 9, if that helps at all.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

That is a REALLY cute dress. What about blue with a purple ribbon? I think white is traditional for FGs, but I prefer colored dresses. I also think blue or purple with a white ribbon would look nice.

My FG is 10, and we decided that she is too old to be in the "traditional" white FG dresses... she's going to be in purple like her cousin, with the older bridesmaids in mailbu blue. She's in a different dress than the other girls, and will carry a basket of flowers instead of a bouquet or dropping petals. I would definitely say not to put her in white... I'd go with purple or blue...

Honestly I was not so keen on a white dress anyways, but my mother and future MIL both said thats what they were thinking I should do. I'm nervous to get a blue one because I don't know how close of a blue it would be to the bridesmaids dresses. I thinking I'm leaning towards purple with a white ribbon but it is still a hard choice!
