Shoe help!

I have been having a hard time finding any shoes I like, let alone love. I need shoes that are 4inches or higher. I am in heels this height every day of my life and only wear tennis shoes to the gym so the height is no biggie for me. The height requirement limits me as most of the shoes im seeing look hooker-ish.

I did find this pair  http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Open-Toe-Pump-with-Draped-Satin-Straps-VW370097 that I liked from David's Bridal - in Ivory. However, my mom and sisters seem to think that the bow will rub on the back of the dress and annoy me all day. I am not one of those people who complain about shoes hurting, rubbing, etc...I'll take the pain for the look I want.

What do you ladies think? Do you think the bow would be a big annoyance? Has anyone worn shoes like this for their wedding and can give me first hand experience?

Thanks!

My shoes have bows on them and that wasn't a concern of mine at all. I've worn them to 2 dress fittings now and they don't seem to be an issue.

  • I wore Christian Louboutins at my wedding, they make heels 5 inches or even higher. I didn't have a bow since no one really saw the tops of my shoes anyway.

I feel like you made this post just so you could tell everyone that you wore Louboutins at your wedding.

OP, the bows look like a pretty soft material, so I bet they'll be fine.

  • I agree with tpender. I don't think It is practical to buy shoes that are over $1K just to wear for one day. Thanks for no help at all MissFelicity. However, if you have an extra $1K lying around...send it my way so I can purchase the same shoes as you.

  • Those shoes are really cute. I agree with tpender13, the material looks soft enough where it probably won't be an issue.
