Hanger: "Bride" vs "Mrs. *last name*"

I'm wanting to get a hanger for my dress the day of, but not sure if the hanger should say "Bride" or "Mrs. <future last name>"

What are your opinions?

This is the one day I'll actually be bride, and I techinically won't be a Mrs. yet....but I'm just not sure!

That is why I went with a 'bride' hanger. It really depends on you, though. It can go both ways. I figure that having a 'bride' hanger later would be a nice memory of our wedding day. You can always 'feel' like a bride, even though you only are one that day.
  • I got one with Mrs. on it because I know I want to keep it and put it in our house with our wedding stuff. I liked bride but it doesn't seem as personal and I couldn't resist seeing my new name all written out lol.
  • I got Mrs. -- I wanted it to be personal and something I can keep. Mine came out super cute
  • I'd go with the Mrs., but that's just me.  I think it makes it feel a little more real.

I did my first name, because it will always be my first name.  I don't care for the term "bride", and won't be a "Mrs." when the picture is taken.  It's really up to you though, whatever you like the most!

I think I'm going with Mrs. because it feels a little more personal.

  • Mine said Mrs. but I had no say as it was a gift from my bridesmaids.

  • I like 'Bride'.  You'll always be Mrs. X but only one day are you actually a bride :)

  • I got bride on mine only because my last name would not fit.

  • I made mine with "Bride," but I'm not changing my name ...
  • mine says "Amy and Brendan" so maybe your first names is an option...
  • I've also seen people use "I Do."
  • I ordered two as a gift for my cousin who is getting married in a few weeks. The first says Becky (heart in the middle) Alex for her to use for gown pictures. I also ordered Mrs. W for her to hang her gown on after the wedding (and maybe snap a few "after") photos.

  • I did "Mrs" because I like the sound of it and think it will be nice to use after the wedding. "Bride" seems less personal to me.

  • I used Mrs with my last name. I figured it was clear that I was the bride. A picture of a dress on a hanger that just says bride could belong to anyone but with my future new last name it makes it much more personal and makes it feel like it is mine. My MOH suggested putting it in a shadowframe after the wedding.
  • I was going to do Mrs <future last name> but at the last minute I switched to jill (heart) bryan

I haven't even seen it myself in person yet (delivered to my parents' house since they live closer to the wedding) but I love it :)   and it got me out of the bride/mrs dilemma - "i do" would be super cute though too!
