waterproofing dyeable shoes?

I have dyeable shoes from DB, and I am wondering if there's any sort of waterproofing spray that I can use to prevent any damage if it rains on the day of the wedding.  I know there are sprays out there, but are any of them safe for dyeable shoes?  TIA!

"Shoe dye can bleed or stain: Shoe dye is water-soluble, so if your dyed shoes get wet, the color can bleed. This can be addressed with a waterproofing spray; however, keep in mind that once your dyeable shoes are sprayed, they can't be redyed." -myglassslipper.com

Looks like you can do it with just an OTC spray. Good luck!
