Necklace help

Hello everyone. My wedding was going to be July 2012, but is now next month, January 8th. We are now scrambling to accomplish all of the necessary tasks. Anyway, I got shoes today (white flats), we are going dress shopping Sunday, and now I need to decide on a necklace.

My Fiance adooores chokers. I would like to surprise him with some sort of choker that is still elegant-ish, and looks good. I was thinking some sort of ribbon choker or something of this sort. Does anyone know of anything? Cheap is a plus, DIY is awesome. I just have no idea where to start in looking for this. Thanks for any help.

Walmart has some pretty nice holiday-party type fashion jewelry if you want nice looking for cheap.  It probably wouldn't last forever, but it would serve its purpose for your upcoming wedding.  No reason to spend huge $$ for just one piece of jewelry if you don't anticipate wearing it again.

Kohl's has a jewlery or other deartment stores in the sale section. Even Payless sells jewlery.

I used to be really into ribbon chokers. I bought some really cool pendants used various ribbon from a craft store instead of the chains.

Hmm, does Kohls and what not have choker type necklaces? That is what I am looking for. I will look into how a string of pearls will look.  Thanks guys.

You could do maybe pearls or even pearls on ribbon.
