Ordering online

I was looking at wedding dresses online just to see what I liked when I found one that I instantly fell in love with.  The only problem?  There is no way for me to try it on to make sure it will look good on me.  Should I risk it and perhaps have the dress of my dreams or should I take the safe route and settle for a different dress?

Re: Ordering online

  • What website is it from?  If it's from a department store, they usually have good return policies, so there would be no risk.
  • Tidebuy.com.  I have never heard of them before.  Their return policy is only if they messed something up on the dress.  Otherwise, you might only get 10% back.  I just learned this btw.  Guess it is not to be.

  • If it's from a knock off site, you can always find the original designer and either look for a reputable shop or a resale site for it.

  • Probably another Chinese copy site, do not purchase from that type of site.   Try Netbride or Pearl's Place who sell real gowns from real designers.
  • I would take a picture in and try on dresses with a similar shape/silhouette before you decide to purchase that gown even from a reputable site.
Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.
