Past Season Dresses?

I haven't stepped into an actual store yet to try on dresses, but I've been looking online and in magazines. I've found quite a few that I like, but some are from older seasons. Do stores usually have a range of dresses? All my friends who have gotten married recently used David's, so this is all new to me!

Re: Past Season Dresses?

  • my dress from davids was from last season that was discontinuted. it was sitting in the store bc it was a size 2 and no one else could fit into it. they will keep dresses from past seasons, and many times those are the ones that go into the big, mega sales. I got an AMAZING deal on my dress........I found it online, didnt know it was discontinued, took the picture to my local davids bridal, and they had 1 left...the dress i got. i got a MEGA deal on it. I would ask if they have any dresses from past seasons, because they are more likely to give you a great price on it. make sure they will include bustle, alterations, etc. (davids will with mine). There is nothing wrong with a past-season dress! What sites were you looking at?
  • I saw a few Casablanca dresses I like, but they are from Fall 2009. I also like quite a few Watters dresses.
