are they pretty accurate on the delivery time frame that they give? Ive been ordering my bridesmaid dresses from the Alfred Sung collection and it says 9-10 weeks standard production time with 7-10 days delivery from houseofbrides to the final delivery address. Being that my last two girls have been procrastinating on getting me their measurments, and Im now down to the almost exactly that amount of time, I was going to do the "rush delivery" option to be on the safe side. Just wondering how the time frame they give compares to someones actual order, maybe I can get away with standard shipping? my wedding is April 24th thanks

yes, we ordered from HOB for my friends wedding... 5 bridesmaids... 4 ordered from HOB, they lost 3 orders, never placed the order, never called us to let us know our dresses were never ordered and kept our money.  we called for 2 weeks to find out what happened and got no where I had to file a BBB complaint to get my money back and I had to go thru another boutique and rush order the dresses which cost us $50 more... disastrous

sorry for the second message... i saw you were from chicago... I went through Bella Sposa Bridal Boutique in Tinley Park, IL  they were amazing and we got the dresses in time

I personally never used HOB but I was just browsing this forum and if you go down the threads there is one that is titled "BM Dress Blunder".  Read that post.  It doesn't seem like people had good experience with HOB.  Just thought to give you a heads up .

If you are looking for other online stores, I've heard good things about Pearl's Place, Netbride, and Pearl's Place.  I am ordering my BM dresses soon from Pearl's Place because they have the designer I was looking for and their prices are lower than rkbridal's.

wow thanks you guys, I just called houseofbrides cause I realized I never got an email or any kind of reciept. After some time of this woman searching and consulting with different ppl, they found my order and I instantly got a confirmation email. kinda makes me think they were just gonna "forget" about my order too. whew, lets hope I get those dresses in time. ill be ordering the last 2 from somewhere else, Ill check out the places you recommended, thanks so much!
