Okay, here's the situation:
I have 4 bridesmaids, one of whom is in another state. I selected a color at David's Bridal (since they have stores in both states) and am simply letting my girls pick out any dress they like in that color. My OOT BM... I love her, but she makes me a little crazy at times. David's told me I needed to have the girls order their dresses by early March at the very latest for my October wedding. However, my OOT BM wants to wait until SEPTEMBER (1 month before my wedding) to order because she is trying to lose weight. While I completely understand this desire, as a plus-sized bride myself, I feel like I'm being unreasonable by telling her she HAS to just order a dress soon. I don't want to be a bridezilla, but I can't risk her not having a dress in time for the wedding.
Does anyone have experience with DB? If I extend to her a couple of extra months, will her dress be in on time? Am I being unfair?
