How do I know my size?

I want to order my gown by Internet, the website has sizes from 0 to 28. How can I find what is my size using a centimeter or with another method?

Have you had any experience buying gown by internet?

My wedding gown is a size larger than what I wear in my everyday clothes.  It really depends on the designer how the sizes run.

Does the website your looking at have a sizing chart?  Some do.

There should be a sizing chart.  Get measured, compare it to the sizing chart, and order the largest size your measurements fit.  So if your bust is an 8, waist a 10, and hips a 12, get the 12.

I found the sizing chart.  It is measured in inches.  According to the chart I fit in an 8 (36, 28, 40).

It's crazy how these dresses fit. I wear a size 4 or 6 dress normally, but a size 10 in these bridal dresses. As long as it looks good, I guess...

Wedding dress sizes are usually 1 or 2 sizes larger than your normal size. I bought a bridesmaid dress from David's Bridal and I got it in a size 6 but when I ordered my wedding dress from them I had to get it in a size 10. So my wedding dress is 2 sizes larger than my bridesmaid dress but that is just how wedding dress sizes go.
