I have no clue about this stuff

Ok, so I haven't really posted on this board much yet, but now that it's getting closer (9/25/10), I need some help (I've been lurking...HI!). I have the Alfred Angelo with the Claret train with a tiara that my FMI bought for me. I don't know if to wear a veil or not. I don't even know what the heck to do with my hair (the tiara is kind of making it difficult). I think I want half up half down, but I can't make a damn decision on my own at them moment. I'm not even sure about jewelry. I'm thinking chandler earing (clean neck line is nice) and a bracelet.

Here's my dress.  Do not like the veil they put on me.  I just wonder with the back of the dress being "busy" and really pretty (IMO), if I should bother to cover it up (even for a little while)?

Here's the tiara

Thanks for any help at all!!!

Does the veil that they have on you have a red ribbon edge that matches the red in your dress??   If it does, I think that's what's throwing me off.

A simple veil that was elbow length would be pretty with that dress in my opinion, but it would also be a pretty dress without the veil.

Yes, they do.  But I'm really thinking that might be too much.  I'm not even sure if to bother spending $200 on something I will wear for about 15 or 20 minutes.  I can't seem to find a decent priced one around here that looks decent.  Also, I don't even know wha legnth to get if I were to get one.
  • I'm not a big veil person and I think that tiara would look better without a veil. It seems like it compliments your dress very nicely.
  • I definitely don't like the red trim around the veil they have on you. If you did go with a veil I would go with a plain one. But that tiara will stand out a lot so I would probably skip the veil altogether.

  • The tiara's really pretty.  I think btwn the tiara and the beautiful dress, the veil would just distract.  I vote tiara no veil!

I agree with the PP, the red trim makes it too busy and takes away from the dress.

My dress is the sister dress to yours, by Alfred Angelo. Just not the full color on the center.  I am wearing a shoulder length veil solid white. I didn't want to take away from my dress and the color.

My dress is white with navy trim.

    This is my veil:

My veil came from www.weddingbedazzel.com and was $30.  I pan to wear i ike this:
