Faux Pas to Have French Manicure on Fingers + Colored Toes?

I love the fresh, clean look of a French manicure on fingers - but hate the look on toes! Would it be totally weird to get my fingers French manicured and then have a solid color on my toenails?

And, agreed...French pedicures are a little weird. Which is not to say I haven't done it, but... LoL

I am with all of you!  I love French on fingers, and will do pale pink on toes.  To me, French on your toes looks just wrong, like you have let your toenails go too long without a trim.  Ick.
