...i'm about half a step from being so. my boyfriend of over 4 1/2 years and i are just waiting until i can move up to new england with him. we've been doing the long distance dance for a long time. my question to all of you soon-to-be-brides is this: In looking at wedding stuff for my best friend who is getting married this year, I've stumbled upon a wedding dress that I LOVE and that fits my idea of the perfect wedding/wedding dress to a T! Is it tacky/pathetic/just plain wrong to perhaps go try it on before I'm officially engaged? Just wondering because it's an Ann Taylor dress, so I'm not sure how long it will be around. Also I've started to hear panic stories from brides about not being able to find dream dresses that are out of stock.
