FI and I went to Men's Warehouse to pick the GMs' tuxes. This is what we decided on:
We had in mind was that FI would wear the same as the GMs. But the sales guy said that he suggested a white bow tie (pictured below except with white cummerbund instead of white vest) to make the groom stand out.
I'm Vietnamese and I need help on attire distinction. I had the impression that white is very formal? White tie kind of reminds me of President Obama's Inauguration Ball and my wedding isn't half as grandiose. Would white tie it be appropriate for FI?
If it helps, we are having a traditional afternoon church wedding and evening reception, and my veil and train is long and the BMs' dresses are long.
What do you ladies think?
