Hi all,
First of all, I haven't posted on this board before and I tried to scroll down to see if this question had been recently addressed and couldn't find anything. I bought my dress, but still need to find veil and shoes. I bought my dress at a small boutique store close to where I live, and they didn't have many veils to try so I didn't worry about that at the time.
This is my dress:

The dress is in "diamond white" which is a very light suble ivory, soft white color for those of you unfamiliar with the maggie sottero line. Should I be looking at ivory veils or white veils? Or is there something in between that I should be looking for? Also - should my fiance wear white or ivory under his tux? The lady wear I bought the dress suggested that he wear ivory but just thought I'd check.
Thanks in advance!
Re: Veil color and shoes for "diamond white" dress
I was a Sottero & Midgley bride. My dress was diamond white. I also ordered my veil in diamond white and had it custom made to match the detail/sequins on my dress. As for shoes, you can really go with anything. While I like the idea of colored shoes (some girls do blue shoes for their something blue), I knew I wanted to stay pretty traditional. I had a heck of a time finding white shoes, but finally found a pair that matched my dress perfectly at David's Bridal.
However, if you are interested in buying online, here are a few good sites:

BTW - OP I love your screen name. I am a Buckeye girl, too.
You may be able to request a swatch of diamond white fabric from Maggie Sottero to bring along when shopping for accessories.
As for shirts, it really doesn't matter. I have seen girls in ivory dresses where the guys have white shirts, and the other way around. It looks fine when they're not the same shade.
