Promises to Keep

Booked our date at Promises to keep a couple months ago but just thought now to ask you all any concerns or anything you've had/heard about with them? They seem really nice, but any advice any of you have about the place would be GREAT!! THANKS :)

    I had my wedding there last July, and my brother actually got married there 4 years prior (to the day ironically) and we loved it! my brother's reception was in the atrium room and mine was in the ballroom! nothing but great things to say! The gardens they have on site are so beautiful and you can get a ton of different outdoor shots in a small area that are all unique! We worked with Ellie, and she was so nice and understanding about our questions... and they did absolutely everything! My brother had done the package, but to save money we did not... the package worked our really well -- no stress! without doing the package, we did more of the prep work... but the day before the wedding we just dropped everything off and they set it all up for us! And by the end of the night, they even packed everything up and loaded it straight into our cars! and during my reception after 20 people had stepped on my bustle and it broke, Ellie was right there with a kit to fix it! the staff is so friendly, and the owner even met with us and set us at ease! the only issue i personally had with them was that we had said beforehand we wanted a beer and wine cocktail hour, and the entire night free for the wedding party... and the bartender started allowing the wedding party to have hard alcohol... we corrected that right away though without an issue! you're going to have a beautiful wedding!!!

    Thanks, and I see you used APM, I also picked them, hoping it all works out.. Had a question maybe you have insite on.. Chair covers? They seem to highly reccomend them but on a tight budget and seems like something dumb to spend money on because everyone says noone will even pay attention, etc.. But are they actually worth it or no? Any Advice? and THANK YOU!!

    i actually didn't use APM, but i did a fearless bride shoot with dave and some other guys... i actually loved them so much that i'm jealous that i did *not* pick them to do my wedding! you should have no worries about them! a ton of girls have used them on this board and have nothing but good things to say!!!

    and as for chair covers... we were on a super tight budget, so we opted not to use them... personally i think they're a "nice to have" but nothing that is necessary. people will be sitting on the chairs all night, so it's not like you're going to be seeing them! when i go to a wedding, the chair would be the last thing on my mind! i know other girls who would die without them though, so i think it's a personal preference
