Shower host gift

Hey ladies,

I had an absolutely amazing wedding shower this weekend throw kinda last min by my MOH (poor thing).  Just curious if you get a shower host/thank you gift for the host?  Given the circumstances of having to throw the shower last min (my mom said she was going to throw it then less than 2 months ago changed her mind and left MOH to throw it) and the lack of help from my BM's I want to make sure we say a special thanks.  Can we give her a small gift card as she doesn't drink coffee or alcohol (no wine or dunks gift cards)?

I think it would be a really sweet idea to get her a little something.  I got my MOH a gift for throwing my shower.  My other girls and my mom helped, but most of the ideas were hers.  So I got her a Coach wristlet from the outlet.  I had a coupon too and it was less than $40 and she loved it. 
Some other ideas that I've seen people do is some bath or shower stuff with a tag saying something along the lines of "from my shower to yours."
I would really just try to think of something that she would like or would fit her style.  Most importantly though, I would include a card thanking her for all her hard work and making her feel appreciated.  Good luck!

I think getting her a nice gift as a thank you is a great idea. I got my MOH and Mom a little bag of goodies from Bath and Body Works. Most of the stuff was on sale (they have great deals there) and I was able to get them body wash, sugar scrub, lotion and a plug-in scent thing that was all aromatherapy. Then I got them soft socks, a loofa, and this hand lotion that has cashmere in it. They loved it all!

Why not do a little something if she was so involved and helpful? Everyone likes to feel appreciated and special.  I say go ahead and do it!

Great idea...it doesn't even have to be anything expensive...just something personal and thoughtful.  The gesture is more important than the actual gift, and that's what she'll remember most.
