Red Black or White??? - HELP!!

I'm in a dilema and wondered if anyone had any advice?  I'm getting married in a couple of months and my dress is red.  My partner doesn't know the colour and after a discussion on wedding underwear he has said he would like white (assuming my dress will be champagne / ivory).  Do you htink I should go white anyway or surprise with red & Black lingerie?  I know you can't see under the dress but not sure if white would feel right with a red dress but on the other hand I don't want my man to be disappointed.....decisions, decisions.

I wore spanx (and nothing else) under my dress. Honestly, I couldn't imagine wearing nice/sexy lingerie all day, and still feeling sexy when getting undressed at night.....you will most likely want to "freshen up" and put your sexy underwear on then. I would recommend getting a few different sets -- white, red, black, whatever. Probably at least something white if that's what he wants:-). Or maybe white with red or black trim? I still wear my ivory nightie with black lace trim from our wedding night, and my husband loves it each time:-)

Aah, I never even thought of a nightie I don't usually wear them, haha.

Thank you, i'm out shopping tomorrow so I think I'll have a look and give him the option.  I suppose you always imagine this perfect night and I guess it never works out like that then?!

Hrm, depends on what style your dress is, to be honest. 

My dress is a corset, so anything I wear underneath is going to be pressed tightly against my skin for hours.  Most fancy lingerie has flowers, lace, etc, and it would make for some pretty funny marks on your skin if you are in the same boat I am.
