Corset/Bustier Large Bust: Help!

Ladies, I have a corset back dress and a small waist, and we all know bridal gowns are a LOT more fabric than your normal gown... My dress has a sweetheart neckline and I'd like to wear a corset underneath to get a nice extreme silhouette going on underneath the dress... but if you have a large bust you know that when you put on a corset or bustier that pushes the girls up nicely you get that weird fat wrinkle under that armpit! And i hate that!

Anyone found a great corset or bustier that doesn't make that ugly armpit fat wrinkle?

  • It sounds like you are not actually wearing the right size. Most women buy the wrong size bra, so you should go to a specialty bra shop and get a proper fit.
I'm a 30G and I bought this for trying on dresses:

I see that you are in Los Angeles. That's great because they make AMAZING custom corsets at Trashy Lingerie. I had one made for my sister's wedding. Don't be put off by the tackiness of some of the stripper outfits. A custom corset will fit you perfectly and they will take your dress into consideration.

  • My advice is to go with an underbust corset for your waist, and rely on the dress' structure (or add cups to the dress if needed) to hold the girls up. That way you'll still get to show off a fantastic nipped-in waist but you won't have any odd wrinkles or pinching around your bust.

I agree with PP, it'll have to be a good quality one, and those aren' t cheap.

  • Oh, I love trashy, they have great selection! I totally didn't think to go there! Also the underbust corset is a great idea! The dress doe have built in cups so that could also be an option. Thanks ladies!
