ive found a few, but i cant decide and times runnin out, were lookin for under $60, its totally do able, but im just wondering where u found yours for that price?

Re: bridesmaid dresses,,,where did u find yours?

  • I would check Ebay and pre-owned dress sites.  Also, I remember Target having a good selection of cute dresses for under $60.  Check the sales on J Crew and Ann Taylor, they tend to have great sales at certain times of the year, but that depends on how much time you have to wait.
  • For under $60 I would check JC Penney

  • Nordstroms. They have a really good selection.
  • I've bought nice cocktail dresses in Marshall's/TJ Maxx for under $60. Also ty overstock.com.

Another idea could be to pick a fairly common color at David's Bridal that you like, and choose either knee-length or floor-length, then tell the girls that they can find a dress in that color/length anywhere you can ("Find any knee-length Apple Red dress that you can and wear that"). A few people on these boards have done that, and the bridesmaids found them on eBay, Craigslist, DB clearance rack or outlet website, thrift shops or borrowed them from friends. a

A third idea would be to ask them to wear a plain black long gown or cocktail dress of their choice. You can add some color by giving them sashes or wraps or jewelry, or just let their flowers be the colorful accessory.

  • I found mine at David's Bridal, and I found the earrings I'm giving them as favors/ for the ceremony at www.jewelry.com. Good luck!:)
  • I went to an outlet store for bridal dresses. My MOH dress was $120, but there were a lot of dresses there for under $100. I don't know if it's because the store wasn't anything big like a David's Bridal (the one here is pretty large) or if that was their regular price though.
  • If you are looking at under $60, I'd recommend giving your girls a color and having them buy off-the-rack at the mall.  You can find tons of pretty, inexpensive black dresses off-the-rack.

  • If you've found some viable options for your price range and you just can't decide, let your girls do a majority vote.  Otherwise, just flip a coin.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • Definitely check out Dillards. They have tons of prom dresses, and I saw some that were definitely bridesmaid-friendly on sale for $25.
  • Take a look at J Crew, Ann Taylor, JC Penny, Lord and Taylor..You never know what you will find!

  • I would also check Burlington Coat Factory.
