4 inch heels

Do you think 4 inch heels are too high for the wedding day...in terms of comfort? I found some pink heels that I  LOVE but don't want to be totally miserable. I wear heels often so I'm pretty comfortable in them on the day to day...just unsure about for my wedding. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Re: 4 inch heels

  • Zappos has a very good return policy, so I would order them and try them out. Then either keep or return them.

I wouldn't be able to do it, but I can't wear most heels anyway.

  • It really depends on you. I can wear 4 in. heels pretty much all day and be comfortable, but alot of my friends would be miserable. I agree with the PP, buy them try wearing them for a day and if your can't do it then return them. they are super cute though :)

  • I love those! I agree, try them out for a little while and see how they feel. My heels were about 4 inches and I made it about 10 hours before I couldn't move in them anymore. I wear heels a lot during the day too, but you stand an awful lot on your wedding day.

  • Agree with PP...I would try  them out, they are beautiful!  Also, you could wear them for pictures/ceremony and then change for reception if need be.
  • I bought some insoles called 'tip toes' and I am hoping that they help me make it though the night, I am starting off with my 4" heels and taking my ballroom dancing shoes as a backup if I wind up crippled.  :)
  • Gorgeous shoes, I love them in the Blue!! But, I don't know about the whole day, how about buy them and plus get a back up pair for the reception if they start getting uncomfortable. That is my plan.

  • I had baught a pair of heels from this particular brand for my wedding day and was disapointed with how uncomfortable they were. I usually dont have any issues with wearing heals, but there was ZERO cushion in the RSVP. They also weren't very sturdy. I ended up sending them back
  • If you're planning on back-up flats - just keep in mind that you'll have 4" of extra dress to step on. I fell in love with 4" too, and they're really comfortable for heels (T-Straps, so my foot doesn't slide around), but I'm really nervous about them. I'll probably decide to chicken out and go with something around 2" when I get closer to the wedding.
