Dress site suggestions - simple tea length wedding/bridesmaid dress

We are planning a low-key, simple wedding.  I do not want a dress with any poof, sparkle, tulle, sequins, stones, etc (a small brooch or embellishment is OK, but I am a competitive figure skater and used to costumes with 3,000+ swarovskis...I don't want to feel like I'm wearing an ice skating costume on my wedding day).  I also do not like the way I look in white. I'm picturing myself in a tea length dress in more of an ivory to champagne color, with a ruched bodice, sweetheart neckline, and a-line skirt (maybe pleated), with a belt or sash accent at the waist.  And of course fabulous shoes.  I'm having FAR more luck finding something I like for myself in the realm of bridesmaid dresses, rather than wedding dresses.  Does anyone have any site suggestions I can look at?  So far I've browed Weddington Way, Alfred Angelo (who has 2 that I LOVE, I will be setting an appointment at a local salon to try them on), David's (yuck), JCrew, Ann Taylor.

I have made one in-person trip to David's so far and was NOT a fan...I can find much better quality at better prices elsewhere and their customer service sucked.  I told them I did not want poof or sequins. They put me in a dess that made me look like I belonged in Swan Lake that was covered with lace appliques and sequins.  I'm not going to lie, I rocked the dress, but it was clearly NOT what I told them I was looking for. And then they tried to put me in a veil despite telling them I do not want one.  I fell like since I told them I wanted something short/simple, and was not having a wedding party (so no chance of selling me additional dresses), and don't have a date yet (we are figuring that out once I find a dress and we figure out when/where we want to take our honeymoon...the important stuff!--our venue is my parent's backyard) they were not listening to me or taking me seriously.

There is a local bridal store a lot of people travel here for, I'm hoping I will have better luck and customer service there.
