Busty problem

I bought my dress in January to wear this October, it fit when I bought it and it still fits except my bust has gotten bigger and now they come out the top.  My dress is strapless.  Any suggestions about how to tame my continously growing chest area?!

  • Why are your boobs getting bigger?
  • My understanding, based on posts I have seen here, is that dresses can also be let out. You might want to have a reputable seamstress evaluate

  • Why is your chest growing?....The only two causes I can think of would be pregnancy or general weight gain. If its general weight gain then just loose weight.

Second alternative, talk to a seamstress, they may be able to let the gown out.

  • I agree with JoeAnne, breast growth usually only happens from weight gain (easily fixed with a month of dieting, as they are the first bodypart to change), or pregnancy.

if it's pregnancy, you're going to need help from your alterationist.

  • I disagree with people about your chest not growing unless you are pregnant or are gaining wait. I went up a whole cup size in the past year and a half and am not pregnant and have not fluxuated in weight more than a pound or two. But as far as your dress goes you need to talk to the person doing alterations since they should be able to let it out or add a laceup in the back or something. Good luck!
  • That is def not true about weight gain, when I lost weight from working out I actually went up a cup size - also last time I lost weight I lost it EVERYWHERE but my chest. It is extremely frustrating lol I would def talk to your seamstress when it is a little closer not to close though to your wedding and see if she can let out just that area for you. I am very busty 42dd and I was considering everything from tape to idk what to tame them lol
  • Try not wearing a bra? I don't know if your dress is supportive or not, but letting your twins go free might make it better! Also, for those asking about your breast growth, we have fluctuating hormone levels, and we don't stop growing till we are in our early twenties.... a combination of both can make it so our Tatas keep it coming!

  • I am neither preggers or gaining weight. In fact I lost 25 lbs last fall and I didn't even lose any bust then. I have always been chesty, but now I'm a 34g. I'm prob about 160 and 5'6".
