Ivory Dress go with white shirt?

Is anyone wearing a light ivory or ivory dress?  what is the groom wearing?  My floralist told me the groom had to wear an ivory shirt or my dress would look dirty?  ivory shirts are not easy to find.  Any advice?

An ivory shirt will make his shirt look dirty, not your dress.

When we went to rent my FH tuxedo, they asked me, and since my dress is ivory, they said that the pictures would look better if he wore an ivory shirt as well.  If he wore white you would see a difference in up close pictures and it would look a little off.  His groomsmen/fathers will wear white however.

They were giving you a line. My dress was champagne and my H shirt was white, you cant tell the difference.
