I would like to know some other bride's opinions about this dress. I am have an outside wedding at a park on May 21, 2011. The color scheme is still up in the air at the moment. I'm thinking maybe a green color or a blue...just not completely sure
For the flower girls dress, I have this dress but I may not use it depending on what it looks like when I get it. I just thought the bright colors were really cute for outside wedding that would be close to summer time.

http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Satin-A-line-with-Beaded-Detail-and-Button-Back-T8923_Bridal-Gowns-Features-All-GownsThe WP is very small and will probably consist of maybe 4-6 people total...so I'm not too sure on dresses just yet for the bridesmaids. I think he is going to pick suits for the guys...he has a brown one that I think he going to wear and I think he is wanting to the other guys to get black; would that look okay?
I'm just really worried that something is going to look stupid and I've tried to picture the way it would all look in my head and I am just not sure about the colors and stuff. I want it to be semi-casual and not too formal...because that's not who we are...we're very laid back people...HELP!
All four of our precious babies!!

About the wedding party: I can't read what you have there about bridesmaids because of the formatting. For the guys, I think it would be best if they coordinate with the groom in some way--that could be with brown or khaki suits, or just with button-down shirts, ties, and slacks if you want to stay casual and budget-friendly. Or you could just let the guys wear a suit they already own, and not worry about the color.

I agree with PP that the flowergirl dress seems a bit much compared to the bridal gown you like. Have you looked at DB's flower girl dresses? they have some really cute ones! If you want to incorporate some color, you can always have the FG wear bright shoes, a sash, hair accessories, etc.
Also, have you tried DB's online Dress Your Wedding feature? It's not pefect, but it lets you have a little fun trying out a variety of color combos and dress styles. It's not the same as going to a store to see them in-person, but you can play around without any pressure from a sales lady!
Are there other dresses you're considering? What are your thoughts for bridesmaids?

Cleo, I haven't really looked at DB for a flower girl dress...I did glance at some stores online yesterday and found just a plain white one at like Target or somewhere like that, don't remember exactly want chain store it was...would that be okay? I had thought maybe just buying something like that and then maybe adding a sash to it or something...that's what I've been thinking of doing before going out and spending $50-$60 if not more a dress...is that mean of me to think that way?
As for the wedding dress...I have tried it on...and it was a perfect fit; I will need no alterations at all to it! There isn't really a train on it, so I think it would probably work out really good for the whole outside scene...this will be my dress. Is it too early to get it; I mean my wedding isn't until May?! I will have to play around with the whole Dress Your Wedding thing...thanks soooo much!

You might want to look at JC Penney for flower girl dresses, they had some really cute ones on sale for less than $40 not too long ago. My FG's dress came from J Crew (on sale) simple, white, and I'm adding a sash in the same color as the accent color on my gown.
I'd say if there's any doubt in your mind that the dress you've tried on is what you want, or if you haven't definitely decided on a venue, don't get it quite yet. But, if you love it and it feels right and you feel happy and confident and gorgeous in it, go for it!
