Shoes and outdoor wedding

I have decided, true to my nature, to find the most glorious pair of blue shoes to wear on my special day.  I am scared though, because I am having an outdoor ceremony and am worried that I am going to sink in and look clumsy walking down the isle!  Any suggestions?  Our ceremony is going to be quick so I would hate to have to give up the shoes I love!

Get solemates. They're these plastic things that slide over the heel and distribute your weight so you don't sink.

Thank you so much, Opalsky!  I haven't picked shoes yet, but was sort of wondering if I'd sink and ruin them outside.  What a neat, little contraption.

The other thing you can do is to ask your venue not to water their lawn for 4 or 5 days prior to your wedding. If it's a common wedding location, they will probably happily oblige! We're getting married outside, and that's what they're doing to ensure the ground is firm. I don't want to be aerating their grass! Haha, hope that helped!
