Bridesmaid Help!

Sooo my wedding is going to be a cherry blossom type theme and our colors are pink and brown. I wanted the dresses to be pink and strapless but a couple of the bridesmaids aren't too happy about that. I decided to try to compromise and do a long brown gown which has straps and a scoop neck...which I saw and liked with a pink tie but I'm not sure how that would look with the black tuxes. I wanted the guys to have a pink vest which I guess woudl match the tie on the girls dresses but what do you think about the black and brown together???

I'm not a big fan of mixing black and brown but when it comes to the tux being black with the girls wearing brown I think it's fine.

Can you do the longer dress in pink, with a brown sash?  I think it will look ok with brown and the black tuxes, but I think the pink would look better.

I would try to do pink dresses to with the brown accents. I just love pink more than brown. Great colors though!

Black tuxes will match anything.

If the girls don't like the pink sash, then you could just give them pink flowers with a plain brown dress.

How does your FI feel about pink vests? Most guys I know would HATE to wear that, and personally I'm not a fan of colored vests on grown men (especially pink). Let him decide on their vest colors. If he leaves it up to you, I would do a more masculine color, like black or silver or champagne. Or do a black vest with a pink tie underneath. That way it's not a pink overload.

Well, I don't think I'd have my FI wear the pink on the inside.... I was thinking that he would wear the black tux but with all white inside. Even if I wanted him to wear pink... he's ok with it. The only one that is flat out against it seems to be his little brother.... the ring bearer lol. I'm sure the other guys might be trying to be polite by not blatantly saying they'd be against the pink but I'm kind of gung ho on that aspect of the bridal party. Thanks for the advice everyone!!
