Yesterday I got an email from the bridal salon where I bought my dress informing that the manufacturer of the dress has changed the shipping date to almost TWO weeks later than the original date! I knew I was pushing it with buying a dress in mid-March, but I had planned on buying off the rack and having it altered...but, decided to take a chance on a dress I loved would come back in time. The salon assured me it would, and I know the manufacturer changing the date isn't the salon's fault, but I'm stressed! If the dress ships on this new date I will have about 4 weeks before my wedding!!
Can alterations be done and done well on a lace dress in that amount of time?? Urrrgghhh!! Anyone have or had a similar experience? Trying not to freak out :-(
