Dress Shopping

So this weekend I went dress shopping and fell in love... with 3 different dresses!

I think I've narrowed it down to two but I'm so confused!  They're both gorgeous and both completely different.

Everyone tells me that I'll just know it's the right one so I must not have found "the ONE" because I'm confused...  What do you girls think about that?

Both dresses are gorgeous and I look gorgeous in both.  So many dresses I tried on looked amazing on me (curse, I know hehe).  Even the people I brought with me are confused... one minute they prefer one, the next they prefer the other.

What do you think?  Because I'm confused does it mean I haven't found "THE" dress?  Or is this normal?  Stupid TV and their stupid "rules" LOL!

Re: Dress Shopping

  • Go back to the store and try them both on. "The" dress will be the one you don't want to take off.
  • I don't believe in the whole "you know when you found the one" theory, but that's just my personality.  Make sure you can take a picture of yourself in both dresses.  Give yourself time to think about it and look at yourself in the photos.  if you're still stuck ask people what they like about you in each dress and what they don't like.  That should help, and worse case scenario, you can't go wrong with either since you love them both!
  • Try them both back on after you've given yourself some time away. Close your eyes and picture yourself walking down the aisle. What are you wearing? Which one do you not want to take off? Which  is a better price? WHich is more comfortable? What are the pros and cons of both? This is a big and important purchase, so I don't think thinking this much about it is bad, but stepping away and coming back in a few days may help clarify everything.

  • I found two completely different dresses that I fell in love with. I could see myself walking down the aisle in both of them, but eventually picked the one I felt the most comfotable in, that fit my venue/wedding style the best, and the one I thought FI would like the most. I did take 3 weeks to think it over, went back, tried both of them on, and made sure my decision was the best for me.
