Best Brand: Spanx Type Shapewear?

I'm trying to find the best shapewear, that would be a shorts version from my knee up to below my bustline...is Spanx the best brand? I haven't found any stores that let me try any on! I dont want it to 'roll' on the edges (either up or down). Has anyone found the BEST brand of shapewear?

I've tried Hanes and the version of Spanx at Target and I think Spanx are definitely the best.  They don't roll up or down.  That's what I'd go with!

I have the Target version and I definitely feel that you get what you pay for. They work for what I need them for, but they're not the best quality. I would pay a little more next time and get the real Spanx.

I LOVE my Spanx! I bought it at Lane Bryant and it was a bit cheaper than other department stores or online. I bought it to wear with my dress, but I love it so much that I've been wearing it on other occassions and even with casual outfits!

If I don't get it pulled up high enough in the back, then it does roll down a bit. But, just have a friend help you pull it up and you'll be just fine.

Oh yes, and the LB lady told me that if I got my Spanx home and it didn't fit that I could still return it to the store.
