Opinions/Input on Online Wedding Gown Websites

Hi Ladies,

I am hoping to get some input on websites like bestbridalprices.com or houseofbrides.com the prices seem too good to be true... are they?  Have you or anyone you know ordered their wedding gown from that type of website?  Any input is much appreciated!

Thanks!

Re: Opinions/Input on Online Wedding Gown Websites

  • The leading sites are Pearlsplace.com and Netbride.com for the best prices and service.  I have been in a number of weddings with Pearl's Place and they all have been great.

[QUOTE]In Response to Opinions/Input on Online Wedding Gown Websites : Those are both legitimate sites that sell the real dresses. MY BMs bought their Bill Levkoff dresses from houseofbrides.com. We were all very happy with the price and customer service. Two of my good friends have bought their wedding gowns from houseofbrides.com as well.

    Hi there,

The website www.houseofbrides.com is the website to a real store---I have gone to the one in Aurora, IL several times in my life.  You can feel comfortable ordering from there.

On the flipside, I am considering ordering a wedding gown from the online store www.thecustomedresses.com. I have read some very good reviews.  I have even emailed with the customer service department and was impressed with the honesty.

I have purchased a wedding gown in my past through David's Bridal.  But now I want one of a particular style.   I do not care about having a designer gown.  I know it would take way too long to order what I want, and it would be great to save money.  I know it won't be of the same quality, but I'm hoping to read more reviews.  I'm wearing it for a small ceremony and dinner party reception indoors for about 15 people.

Has anyone had any luck with www.thecustomedresses.com?

  • Hi, I'm Emma and I write dress reviews.  To answer your question, I invite you to go to my site and read some of the testimonials from Brides who have purchased gowns through online sites.   I represent several online stores and have found them to be great!   All the sites I represent are based in the US and have beautiful gowns for GREAT prices.  The testimonials will speak for themselves.   Hope you check out my site.   I might be able to help you find your perfect dress.
