Question about Selling Wedding Dress

Hi Ladies,

I really want to sell my wedding dress b/c I have no idea what I'm going to do with it. For those of you who sold your dresses, did you clean them first? My dress has a bit of dirt on the inner part that's not visible, but I don't want to sell it dirty. 

Any advice is appreciated! TIA

Yes, clean it first.  When I was looking at used dresses, I skipped over any ad that indicated that the dress had not yet been cleaned - always made me wonder how much they really cared about the gown.

That is kind of presumptuous.  I loved my gown but with being so busy after the wedding I didn't get around to getting it cleaned until almost a year later.  Doing that certainly does not mean that I don't care about my dress.

OP, I would get it cleaned prior to selling it.

I would clean it first.  I also skipped over gowns on the used dress sites that hadn't been cleaned.  Not because I didn't think they cared, but I was afraid if the dress had been sitting for a while, the dirt may have set in.  And also, I was afraid to spend money on a used dress and have to worry if the stains were going to come out.

I would definitely clean it first. Pricing is huge if you want to sell it quickly. I listed mine for 50% of the price and sold it within 2 weeks. Give as much descriptions as possible and include pics!
