Flowers in hair - color?

Hello all!

Well just want some views on my idea.  I have long dark brown hair to my elbows and I am going to have it curled and I want to put beautiful tropical flowers in my hair all over, now I know that usually you are supposed to be all in white from head to toe but I want to have pretty pinks, oranges, and purple colored flowers in my hair like plumerias for example, my dress is white mermaid style and I really wanted to have a pop of color in my hair, the wedding is going to be on a beach in Hawaii . . . any thoughts on the flowers having some color in my hair, they will match the bouquet I have as well.   Does anyone think this would look bad or should I just stick to all white flowers?

I'm not sure I guess I just thought that was the general idea was that you had to be in all white.  Wow blue must have been pretty!!!  I guess you really don't have to do anything you don't want to . .  . all white just seems so boring and so not me!

Coloured hair flowers are totally fine!  Go for it.

My only comment is that cut fresh flowers have a tendency to wilt and get saggy quite quickly, especially in hot climates.  You might choose to go with fake flowers for your hair, or use real flowers for the ceremony and switch to a sparkly clip or something for the reception.

I love a pop of color like that! Nothing says you have to be all in white. Go for it!

I think it would look fine but might use the same colors in your bouquet and any other flowers to tie it together.

Thanks everyone!  The flowers in my hair will most likley be fake as I do not want them to wither in the sun and will definitly match my boquet.  Thanks for all your responses, can't wait to try different colors to see which ones are best!  YAY
