Purple Wedding Shoes?

Hi Ladies!

I've been considering dying my wedding shoes a lavender color to go along with my color theme. Do you think it's weird to wear a colored wedding shoe other than ivory or white? I'm thinking it would look nice for picture's and I want to step away from being traditional.

I don't think it's weird at all to wear colored shoes.  If that's what you want, go for it!

That said, I really prefer your shoes in the original color.  The way the pearls match the satin is very, very pretty.

Wearing colored wedding shoes is now pretty common. If you want them lavender, go for it! I do tend to agree with PP, though; I like those shoes in ivory.

I wore purple.  Many people are going with coloured shoes instead of white or ivory these days.  However, I prefer your chosen style in the ivory.  The lavander looks odd to me.  If you were to do lavander, I'd choose a different shoe.

I'll be wearing a darker purple shoe. Its pretty normal nowadays to wear a colored shoe.

And like everyone else, I do prefer that shoe in ivory.

colored shoes are super common...i'm wearing sparkly blue.  that being said, i agree w/ PP's that those particular shoes look better undyed.

I don't think it's weird at all! I'm wearing light pink, sparkly shoes I like the shoes you posted in lavender, I think they're adorable!

I'm not a fan of how that shoe looks colored, but in general there is NOTHING wrong with colored shoes.  Mine are actually a really awesome sapphire blue pump.

Definitely planning on wearing blue shoes to mine, so, if it's what you want, go for it!  I would ask, though, can they change the color of the flower at all?  I think that's what's slightly not working for me...
