dress color

Taking a poll, did you ladies go with white or ivory for your dress, and why?

Re: dress color

  • Diamond white because that was the color of the dress I fell in love with.
  • Mine's technically called ivory, but the color itself looks soft white. I think a softer white is much more flattering on every skin tone than stark white. Also, keep in mind that a brighter white makes a dress looks much cheaper than a softer color, especially if your dress is made of a synthetic fabric instead of silk, which many dresses are.
  • ditto pp.  I got ivory because I am super pale and white made me look more pale while ivory made me look tan

  • pink
because I felt too washed out in either white or ivory, although if I had to pick one I'd have done ivory it's softer with most skin tones
  • neither! I ordered my dress in oyster which is more on the silvery side with a pinkish hue.
  • Mine is champagne. The white dresses I tried on washed me out and I loved the way the champagne looked on me.

My dress is ivory because it looked better with my skin tone and the lace just looked sad when it was all white..
