I just wanted to thank everyone who comment on my previous post about Jacques. FI and I really appreciated the advice. Not eating before we went was a great tip. After trying all that cake I don't think I can even look at cake until the wedding
But down to the details. We worked with Tami, she was great. She did a really good job of helping us envision what our cake is going to look like on our big day. For flavors we got lemon w/ strawberry preserves, almond w/ amaretto buttercream and spice w/ caramel buttercream (that was our favorite). We got the mad hatter style, which I am SO excited about. Ivory colored tiers, brown ribbon wrapped around each tier and green vines for the detail work. Clusters of fresh flowers, sugar leaves, pumpkins and acorns and a fox couple sitting in a pile of leaves on top.
I can't wait to share the pictures of it!
