Dress Preservation

I purchased my dress from David's Bridal, but I did not purchase the dress preservation kit. I'm now trying to figure out if their kit is the best option or if there is a better service out there. To be honest, the main turnoff I have for using them is the fact that the display box says "DAVID'S BRIDAL" in huge letters on the box. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Re: Dress Preservation

  • Go to your local dry cleaners and check prices.  I went to mine and she told me the price varies on how much detailing and all is on the dress.  I told her mine was plain and simple, no beads, no lace, no anything on it and she told me it was only going to be $100 to preserve.  So just check with your local cleaners first, it may be cheaper and it may not; but at least you'll have something to compare it to.

  • Aside from dry cleaners, see if any local bridal stores can do it and their cost
