I'm not a canon in D kinda bride...

I have a short walk from the entrance to the alter, and I'm looking for a song that will have the bridal impact but make sense when its cut off.

What is everyone playing for their ceremony music?

Also, same song for mob, mog, grandparents, bridesmaids?

    I'm not either!
I'm not doing the same songs for my entire party.
My grandmother is walking down to a musical arrangement from Riverdance.  She's Irish, and she loves the show, so this will thrill her.
My FI's mom and dad have passed, so there's no MOG walk :(
My bridesmaids are walking down to "jeau d'eaux" from the Cirque du Soliel show "O".
My parents are walking me down the aisle to "storybook love" from the "princess bride".   It's my FI's and my favorite movie, and one of our table names (our table names are movie titles).
We're recessing out to "Beautiful Day" by U2.
BTW, we're not getting married in a church, so I'm not sure if the choices I have are appropriate for a church wedding.

    I wanted something different too.

Our moms are walking down to "Baby of Mine" the theme from Dumbo

My dad and I are walking to the instrumental version of"Beauty and the Beast"

Our recessional is "Birds and the Bees and the Flowers and the Trees" as a tribute to my grandfather

We are entering the reception to "Gimme some Lovin'"

elahenara- I saw Rob Paravonian open for George Carlin a few years ago and I saw the Pachabel's Canon thing! Too funny! :)

Check out Hi-Fi weddings a blog full of musical suggestions/playlists for brides who aren't exactly Top 40 kind of gals.
