I am just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how you fixed it...
I picked up my dress Saturday from David's. When I tried it on at the store, I noticed it smells like the fabric was somehow treated with something. I asked the person helping me try it on about it, and she recommended airing it out a few days, which I'm doing right now. I have a fan on it to try to move air through. She also mentioned that it will be steamed after alterations and that may also help. That's fine, but I find it odd that it smells like that. And I don't know how steaming would actually help, since that's just hot water, not an odor remover.
Thoughts?
